I am adding some information about the scientific community's view of Dircks through his obituary. I am also adding details of a patent account written by Dircks, as well as extra information on some books he wrote, including Perpetuum Mobile and including an overview of his books. Poetry[edit]

I am adding a new section to talk about his study of nature in religious poetry. The plan would be to show his interest in studying nature and the effects on his life and other areas of study. For now it is just more information into what his book Naturalistic poetry is and why he studied these poems. Adcmyb (talk) 16:26, 8 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Looking into possible relations with Richard Monckton as he dedicated at least one of his books to him Adcmyb (talk) 15:17, 28 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Pepper's Ghost[edit]

I found a book referring to Pepper's ghost that says A Strange Story by Edward Bulwer-Lytton was played christmas eve 1862 instead of The Haunted Man. It states that The Haunted Man was later performed as an exhibit for 15 months.
