Argh

I don't know how to link Jimmy Johnson directly to the correct wiki page (ie the correct Jimmy Johnson). My like goes to a 'clarify' page. If anyone knows how to fix this, please do! Thanks!

Nope, it goes to the right page, there are a couple clarification links at the top, but is right page... -slowpokeiv 23:08, 1 August 2005 (UTC)
Ah, I figured it out - a typo on my part. Regardless, thanks Slowpokeiv! 00:05, 2 August 2005 (UTC)

List of Hendrick Sponsors

Looking at the sponsors article, it doesn't seems like a enough to warrant its own article. 69.134.50.153 01:59, 21 August 2005 (UTC)

I agree. I'm going to begin merging this with the drivers section in this article right now. DomRem | Yeah? 22:09, September 6, 2005 (UTC)

Cleanup

Great information, but the history sections need paragraphs. Hard to read. Section organization can be cleaned up too. 69.134.50.153 01:59, 21 August 2005 (UTC)

Ok, cleaned up section organization a bit. 69.134.50.153 02:02, 21 August 2005 (UTC)

This page needs some major reorganization and grammar cleanup...it is still very hard to read. Modor

Cleanup 2

This article appears to have issues with the style of writing (and grammar). I am currently doing such cleanup. AEMoreira042281 03:22, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

Incorrect ownership in article

I think someone has confused the ownership of the corporation "Hendrick Motorsports", which is the owner of the shop and it's equipment, and the owners of each car run by the team. If you own a car you don't automagically also own part of the team. In '85 Rick bought out Harry Hyde [1] Hutcher (talk) 03:49, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

Incorrect Car History

When Dale Earnhardt Jr. came to Hendrick Motorsports, the #5 car was changed to #88 and the #25 was changed to #5. You have it listed as the #25 car turning into the #88 which is not the case as the #5 was changed to #88. Please fix this issue. If you have more questions contact me. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Toughguy223 (talkcontribs) 06:48, 29 January 2010 (UTC)

Do you have a reliable source for that? --Wean0r (talk) 07:30, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
The #5 stayed the same. The #25 was changed to #88. Casey Mears switched from the #25 team to the #5 team. See http://www.hendrickmotorsports.com/news_detail.asp?id=1810&bhcp=1 Wolfpackfan1234 (talk) 06:14, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
That article says nothing definitive and proves nothing about which car has which number. This is also a report still during the 2007 season which is before any team or personell were actually switched. Hendrick gave Jr. the #5 and switched the #25 to #5 because the #25 was the worst car and he wanted Jr. to have as good of equipment as possible. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Toughguy223 (talkcontribs) 16:32, 21 April 2010 (UTC)
Do you have any proof, such as a link of your own?Wolfpackfan1234 (talk) 04:15, 25 April 2010 (UTC)

Hendrick outside stock car racing

This article needs some mention of anything about Hendrick Motorsports' other programs outside the realm of stock car racing. They only ran the GM factory Chevrolet Corvette GTP program for a few years in the Camel GT Championship, as well as involvement in a Grand-Am Daytona Prototype program. Hendrix marrow project as seen on in my own words on tv

I heard Rick hendrix talk about a marrow registry on T V. "In my own words". I would be interested in being a donor. I have given about 13 gallons of blood in my time. Pain does not seem to be a big deal to me. I have heard or understand the Doning is not as bad as the donee. lucky_1960@yahoo.com , I asume the marrow is taken for a registry then I would wait to be a donor.. Let me know something.

Convert tables to templates?

This article is getting very large, and I notice part of that is the various tables embedded in the article. Would it be possible for anyone to convert the other tables into templates as well? I've already done it for one table. jd22292 (Jalen D. Folf) (talk • contribs) 01:08, 3 December 2017 (UTC)

Byron and Elliot

Just to make this clear, the source provided for the number changes of both William Byron and Chase Elliot are backed by the following sentence in the source: "Elliott and the #9 will be fielded by his current #24 team while Byron and the #24 will be fielded by the current #5 team." This sentence, to me, backs the statement that #5 will become #24 in 2018 and that Elliot's #24 will become #9. If the IP that reverted me has any objections, please state them here provided there's another reliable source that goes against what ESPN says. jd22292 (Jalen D. Folf) (talk) 02:29, 31 August 2017 (UTC)

Since the assets of the No. 24 are moving to the new No. 9, are we documenting the history of the No. 24 car as the No. 9 and the No.5 as the new No. 24 or are we going to list the No. 24 car's history as Byron, add a new No. 9 section and end the No. 5? KD0710 (talk) 15:22, 7 December 2017 (UTC)
