In what way is this person "notable" according to the Wikipedia definition..?! If she is, then so are pretty much all academics in the world. Hello Alex: yes, this is true, I have updated the information on my own Wikipedia page. The page was created by someone else some time ago - and was not up to date.

I am new to Wikipedia: it did not seem right to me to have a wikipedia page under my name that was incorrect. Can you advise me please: should I have asked someone else to do the edits for me so that the information is correct (but that it did not look like I was updating it myself?)

I have removed the information that is not relevant to my status as an academic computing scientist.

You should not be editing this article, except to remove egregious errors or unsourced defamation; see WP:AUTOBIO. Instead, if you think the coverage of your accomplishments is inadequate or out of date, you should make requests for changes here on this talk page.
