Not so secret[edit]

I don't know if this can advance the article, but Flight was reporting fairly accurately on the design of the He 274 and the placing of production in 1942 and 1944. GraemeLeggett (talk) 11:39, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Interception[edit]

"The significance of this design is that had this aircraft entered production and been used in operations over England it would have been impossible for Allied fighters to intercept over the target, owing to its extreme high altitude performance." - unfortunately for the He 274 the quoted altitude of 14,300 m (46,920 ft) was to be exceeded by a Spitfire, in an unofficial record flight to 48,200ft flown by a Flt Lt Williams in 1943 in what I suspect was a Spitfire HF Mk IX. Dates[edit]

Some of the dates are D/M/Y, while others are M/D/Y. As it is about a German aircraft, and the date format for pretty well all countries is D/M/Y, If I edit all sates to be universal D/M/Y will that be acceptable? I only ask because a certain editor is stalking me and reverting my date edits. Surely they have to be one or the other and not a mixture of both? Hi Troy, you are absolutely correct that this article should use the D/M/Y format. Date formats should also be consistent in each article, whichever style is used. I've tagged the article for DMY, and will try to change the incorrect formats. Feel free to correct any that I miss. BilCat (talk) 04:38, 3 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
