Current operational status for HeavyLift Cairns.[edit]

Cite error: There are <ref> tags on this page without content in them (see the help page). --123.211.92.177 (talk) 02:59, 24 May 2010 (UTC)After the demise of CHARRAK, a similar operator in Cairns many years ago, I was pleased to see another freight company operating out of Cairns. However, I have been aware for quite some time, that the HeavyLift aircraft have not moved from their, clearly visible, parked position on the GA side of the airport. Is this company now suffering from the fate of many other Cairns operations, in what appears to be a governmental total disregard to local aviation services.[reply]

Cairns resident.

Current status[edit]

Can anyone describe the current status of this airline? The website is dead and there is a notice of insolvency http://www.pprune.org/archive/index.php/t-477927.html, yet there are also seemingly contradictory notices that they in 2014 sourced another DC-8 http://www.ch-aviation.com/portal/news/32992-australias-heavylift-cargo-to-source-another-dc-8-freighter 71.176.212.178 (talk) 13:35, 4 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Still in business[edit]

This company is still in business with them running flights out of Cairns and they have a website as well. So the page needs an update. Heavilift.com CHCBOY (talk) 20:50, 22 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
