STOP PUTTING REGIONAL, COMMUNITY AND SCHOOL PRODUCTIONS ON THE MAIN PAGE. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.72.205.3 (talk) 20:35, 8 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Is it "Westerberg" or "Westerburg?"[edit]

Hello Wikipedians! I was checking whether or not the name of the high school in the musical was spelled "Westerberg" or "Westerburg", and couldn't find any definitive answers at first glance. Checked Wikipedia and TVTropes and even they were inconsistent with their spellings. Going off the spelling listed on the movie's page, I would assume the spelling would be "-burg," but some places say "-berg," and Wikipedia's page for the musical uses both in the same contexts! Just wanted to clear things up. Paintspot (talk) 13:39, 27 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Looking at the official website, including the lyrics sheets they have available, it is spelled -erg. This may be different from the movie, but we should be going with sources talking about the show anyways. BOVINEBOY2008 14:50, 17 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
In the movie it's Westerburg, you can see it on the drums at the pep rally! 37.228.177.61 (talk) 14:41, 15 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Cast Section[edit]

Hi all,

I think that the cast table section should not include the Joe's pub performance. It wasn't a full 'production' (it doesn't have its own section in the productions part of the article, just mentioned in the development section) and I think the actors should just be described in the prose section for development. Thoughts? Apathyash (talk) 16:48, 11 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

But to answer anyways, Roku. Arcade Wise (they/them) (talk) 01:07, 30 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia can’t help with these kind of questions. Google would be a good place to start. Apathyash (talk) 21:58, 25 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Over listing of Cast[edit]

As with any article about a popular play or musical, Heathers' wikipedia page often falls prey to smaller regional, or even community and high school, productions trying to make it all about themselves. As it currently stands, most of the information on this page is backed up with sources, but I raise my eyebrow at the notability of the majority of the names listed. Names linking to other articles are obviously acceptable, but the Brazil section is just a word salad. I hardly think we need to know every name for every role. The same goes for Australia's listing of every single performance date. Equirax (talk) 05:32, 22 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah agreed actually. Iirc it was me that added most of the names in the replacements section a while back, but looking back on it I think most aren't notable in and of themselves. There are definitely a handful you could make an argument for being notable. Tobias Turley would be imo given his win on Mamma Mia! I Have a Dream, and maybe Miracle Chance given she's originated a couple roles in other musicals before. The rest is probably cruft, yeah.
Agreed on the Brazil and Australia sections being messy too - I would also argue the Notable US regional productions section needs clearing too, given it seems to mostly cover community theatre rather than professional DeputyBeagle (talk) 09:18, 22 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I cleaned it up a bit; the cast table still needs some trimming but the notable productions section is much more concise now Equirax (talk) 02:11, 24 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

JoJo Siwa????[edit]

Casting tables[edit]

As a reminder, per WP:CRYSTAL, casting tables shall not be updated until the production in question officially begins performances. This is an encyclopedia, not a fan page. Things can change for a planned production that has not happened yet. Smitty1999 (talk) 12:25, 7 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
