Untitled[edit]

I have removed the reference to the album selling 500,000 copies as this is a. not true and b. unsourced. 80.56.35.62 11:47, 15 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

GA Review[edit]

This review is transcluded from Talk:Hard to Swallow/GA1. The edit link for this section can be used to add comments to the review.

  • Please split the lead into 2/3 paragraphs as per most album GA/FAs.
  • I'm not sure if [1] is a reliable source?
  • "which Van Winkle described" --> "which he described"?
  • Some Professional reviews dudes in infobox need italics (eg. NY Times).
  • "An example of the sound of Hard to Swallow." - this needs more info... describe what it sounds like, what reception of it was, how it relates to the article text...
  • "In the early stages of the album's development, Hard to Swallow was initially" - redundancies
  • "Van Winkle stated of working with Ross Robinson, "The vibe was totally so cool. We had the album finished in a month and a half because we kept the vibe."" - what's that got to do with the rest of this paragraph?
  • Reception section needs plenty of expansion.

And please leave me a note when done. Cheers, giggy (:O) 02:38, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Commercial reaction also needs including, did it sell 3 copies or 3 million? Since I imagine there isnt much to write on this, it would be nice to compare it to his previous records. — Realist2 (Come Speak To Me) 04:14, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • The only website I could find with an exact sales figure is this fansite, which claims that it sold 100,000 copies. I couldn't find any verifiable sources discussing the album's sales. (Ibaranoff24 (talk) 07:45, 23 June 2008 (UTC))[reply]
    • Could you give a table of chart positions then, if it didnt sell many copies. Im sure it landed somewhere within the Billboard 200. — Realist2 (Who's Bad?) 05:15, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Neither Billboard's website nor All Music Guide have any chart information for the album. (Ibaranoff24 (talk) 06:10, 25 June 2008 (UTC))[reply]
  • "who had worked with bands such as Deftones, Korn, and Sepultura." why is this so important to warrant inclusion in the lead? Can we get a slightly bigger (since 300 x 300 is the max allowed) album cover without the parental advisory label? indopug (talk) 12:54, 22 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • I don't think that it's really necessary to upload a larger version of the cover. In any case, I've been unable to find a version without the PA. (Ibaranoff24 (talk) 07:34, 23 June 2008 (UTC))[reply]
