Theme[edit]

Did the promo specifically say that is the theme or was it just played in the promo? TNA frequently plays songs in promos, as does WWE, that doesn't make it an official theme. TJ Spyke 22:47, 20 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Correct they usually do, but like previous events, it was done in such a way to advertise this theme as the event's theme. Remove it if you wish till further confirmation.--WillC 00:59, 21 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

champions[edit]

Why you put TBI as IWGP Champions? The NJPW declare the reign as unofficial. It can be a Samoa Joe vs Booker T in har justice 2008.--HHH Pedrigree (talk) 01:43, 7 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Because TNA are having that match at Hard Justice. Champions or not, to be correct we still have to say the title in TNA's universe is being defended.--WillC 02:19, 7 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Also, where has NJPW said the reign is unofficial? TJ Spyke 02:50, 7 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I've wondered the same. I don't see anything on their site regarding it.--WillC 03:06, 7 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I have read in a web site that NJPW didn't know anything about the title change & declare it unoficial. http://www.solowrestling.com/noticia.php?10/10/10/10/20098515147/NJPW_confirma_a_Team_3D_como_campeones The web site read the noticide in http://www.puroresufan.com/njpw/?p=817 --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 11:06, 7 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I Have a feeling they'll change the match after the tapings have all been shown but because of what's on the tapings they have to wait until they're all shown to likely say that BI aren't IWGP tag champs anymore. So we gotta wait until TNA changes it before we do. —Preceding unsigned comment added by DJ BK (talkcontribs) 12:55, 9 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
TNA already taped all Impact's leading up to Hard Justice already, so nothing will happen anytime soon. Not sure what will happen, or if this supposed NJPW press release is even real (I would like to see something from NJPW itself and not just secondhand sources saying that such a comment has been made). TJ Spyke 14:15, 9 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Matt Morgan?[edit]

f4wonline.com says that the third man is the 3-way is Matt Morgan. Can this be added yet? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.245.177.169 (talk) 08:31, 8 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No, it is a spoiler. Read WP:Spoiler.--WillC 09:08, 8 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, got it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.245.167.108 (talk) 14:08, 8 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Knockouts Championship Match[edit]

I thought this was going to be a tag team match with Cody Deaner and ODB Vs. Angelina and Velvet? Or at least they acted like that on Impact, when Angelina didn't even name Madison Rayne, she just named Velvet Sky to be her partner —Preceding unsigned comment added by BBoy (talkcontribs)

Nah, to me it seemed clear she meant they will only be at ringside. TNA even confirms it [1]. TJ Spyke 01:51, 10 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, that is exactly what it will be. Angelina just can not enunciate.--WillC 02:37, 10 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Don West just confirmed it's a tag team matchBBoy (talk) 01:05, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No he didn't. He said ODB vs Angelina Love. The card on TNA Wrestling.com even confirms this.--WillC 01:22, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Right after Tenay said that they will be in their corner, DW actually piped in and said it will be a tag team match BBoy (talk) 01:39, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Corner means they will be accompanying them. See [2], the current line up has it Love vs ODB.--WillC 01:47, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I'm just quoting what Don West clearly said during the Christy-Sojo match, and he said tag team match BBoy (talk) 01:50, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well it could possibly be a tag match, but at the moment the lineup says it is a standard match.--WillC 01:56, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Elijah Burke[edit]

Arent U going 2 say anything about Elijah BurkeMastercarr (talk) 01:52, 12 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No, because he said he has not signed with TNA via Twitter.--WillC 02:15, 12 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Now, tonight during Impact, Tenay listed off all the participants in the Steel Asylum match and D'Angelo Dinero was listed. Now who do the fine folks at Wikipedia think D'Angelo Dinero is? BBoy (talk) 01:55, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
This isn't a messageboard. We put facts, not speculation. There is only speculation that Dinero is Burke, no proof. Hell, Burke has actually said he hasn't signed with TNA. TJ Spyke 01:58, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
So until Hard Justice, D'Angelo Dinero isn't going to be referenced anywhere despite we know there's promos on Impact for him? Plus he has Burke's gimmick for WWE dark matches and house shows before his release, "The Pope". I would take it Burke probably wants his debut to be a surprise, because it's ridiculous to think Dinero isn't him. The only unassigned employees the TNA page has listed are Andromeda and Hamada, and there's no such thing as a good guess on them BBoy (talk) 04:37, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The fact Burke has never came out directly and said he has signed nor if he is Dinero it is all speculation. This is still wrestling. It was thought Taz would debut at Lockdown, but instead it was Lashley. We thought The Miz left WWE, but no he returned the next week with a Hockey Player gimmick to beat a retard then afterwards unmasked.--WillC 04:51, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It was obvious Miz was either going to another brand, or find some way back onto the roster. There was no reports saying he was leaving. What about the Taz promos? They clearly promoted Taz with the "FTW", "13", etc. logos, and he debuted at Victory Road as expected BBoy (talk) 04:56, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I said Lockdown above. Everyone was saying Taz will debut at "Lockdown", it was obvious later on for Victory Road. As for Miz, there were rumors going around he had a job at MTV for some tv show. With his profile also removed entirely from WWE.com, there was the big possiblity he was leaving.--WillC 07:23, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"D'Angelo Dinero" should be on the match listing, with no mention of who he is. He was announced as being in the match, simple as that. So we don't "know" its Burke... so don't put that in there. Just mention the character. 98.109.135.106 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 00:27, 15 August 2009 (UTC).[reply]

Well apparently he did sign a deal with TNA, because that's clearly Burke. BBoy (talk) 00:10, 17 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
