Requested move[edit]

Dab page was moved from the original title without consensus. Reason seemed to be the misconception that "(disambiguation)" needs to be applied to the title of any disambiguation page. - Was that a vote? Eh. Thanks for the words of wisedom, Anpho. Thing is, I can't. "Hanson" has an edit history, however short. The guy who moved the page redirected it to Hansobn. This move requires admin help. Furthermore, I cannot assume it's uncontroversial. At least, not uncontroversial enough to be submitted as such as RM.   - I ask you not to refer me to by that name again. I prefer Anthony if you find þ difficult to type. My "vote" was more of a suggestion to any passing admin. If my opinion isn't clear enough, I support your request. The original move is the one that required discussion and consensus, reverting it is not controversial in my view. You could list it as an uncontroversial RM requiring admin assistance or even tag the redirect with {{db-move}}. – Anþony talk 10:12, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure where to start. 1) Hanson should be a disambiguation page. 2) The current content of Hanson (disambiguation) should be moved to Hanson (surname) or something similar. 3) I think I shall attempt to do this now. older ≠ wiser 16:01, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
