hand heart[edit]

I think i created the hand heart. I started using it in my art work in the mid 90's. I do have a photo with one of my art pieces using the symbol dated 2006 by the printer that developed it. I may be wrong, but I don't remember seeing it before I created it. I started noticing, even in the 60's hippie movement, i don't recall seeing any photos. There were a lot of fingers in the v shape, for peace, but none for love. I'm asking for any contributions of information of it being used before the mid 90's Drewthestars (talk) 11:44, 24 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You have not provided any evidence for this origin, however it is rather obvious that Taylor Swift didn't invent the gesture, so I'll adjust that content. Isingness (talk) 15:54, 25 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Finger heart article[edit]

Given the limited scope of this article and of that article, the latter should simply constitute part of this one, as it used to. There are barely any sources attached to the finger heart article, which seems to have been created by a contributor with, shall we say, a very enthusiastic track record of article creation in the Asian sphere. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.2.125.12 (talk) 21:48, 12 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The problem with that is the fact that the Hand heart and Finger heart gestures originate in different parts of the world and are literally two different gestures. You can't just lump the articles together because there isn't enough information on them. You have to simply expand the articles individually. Katabatic03 (talk) 03:30, 30 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
