  • @Pix7518 and Tby246: - can I check if the two of your work for this brand? It's not that your edit (which I note is identical) is not sensible, but you both need to comply with our paid editing rules. You're already doing one half of that, by making edit requests rather than editing directly, but the other key half is disclosing your employer and link to this article on your userpages (click your account name at the top of any page to go there). Please let me know if you need help, much better to fix than risk being blocked. Nosebagbear (talk) 13:19, 25 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Nosebagbear and -ink&fables: hi, I have included the disclosure on my talk page, and also provided more references to support the 1st edit. Would appreciate if you can help to review, thank you. Pix7518 (talk) 03:40, 30 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The last sentence of first paragraph under controversy section contains a rogue comma:

"The firm, returned the lost cryptocurrency."

Please change it. 〜 ♥ (˘꒳˘ ) Teafed, (she/her) (talk) 22:12, 23 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Extended-confirmed-protected edit request on 26 July 2021; addition of Huobi Venutures fund[edit]

At the bottom of the History section please add the following: In May 2021, the company launched Huobi Ventures, a $100 million fund focused on the acquisition of blockchain companies and the investment in non-fungible tokens.[1] Branpedia (talk) 20:58, 26 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Not done for now: It does not appear that there is consensus for that addition at this time. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 20:25, 4 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The article mentions Huobi is moving people to it's US based site HBUS. HBUS was shut down in December of 2019. Therefore this sentence:

"The US strategic partner of Houbi is HBUS, headquartered in San Francisco, California and was launched in July 2018."

Should be changed to this sentence:

"The US strategic partner of Houbi is HBUS, headquartered in San Francisco, California and was launched in July 2018. In December 2019, Huobi announced it was ceasing operations of HBUS."

Partly done: It wasn't sourced anyway, so I just removed that, and some other unsourced stuff. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 17:32, 26 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

renaming[edit]

Per Bloomberg and huobi's own website, the exchange got rebranded as HTX. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/newsletters/2023-09-21/in-justin-sun-s-huobi-rebrand-to-htx-there-are-echoes-of-ftx. Maybe the page needs to be renamed too. BoraVoro (talk) 08:12, 24 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

yeah, it does. Antonio Vinzaretti also requested the move. So I've moved it to HTX (cryptocurrency exchange) - David Gerard (talk) 20:24, 16 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

HTX (Huobi) is no longer registered in the Seychelles. Cite error: There are <ref> tags on this page without content in them (see the help page). https://www.gazette.sc/sites/default/files/2023-10/Gazette%20No%2059%20-%2023rd%20October%202023.pdf Miko2648 (talk) 07:42, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Miko2648: Hello! If it is no longer registered in the Seychelles, it must be registered somewhere else, right? Could you please provide reliable sources which tell where it is registered now, because I don't think we can just remove the Seychelles from the infobox, etc. Also, it would be helpful if you told what exactly you want to add to the article, mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format.
