The article is basically a Good Article. However, I feel that there are a few minor details to "fix".

  1. Is it reasonably well written?
    A. Prose quality:
  • HMS Zealous was given a straight stem – Does this mean the bow of the ship? If so, what does it mean for the "bow" to be straight?
  • ...converted to an armoured frigate for the price of £239,258. – Is this in 1862 pounds?
  • Her bottom had not been cleaned since she had left Great Britain... – When was the cleaning?
    • Linked. Stems of wooden warships and the earliest ironclads were generally curved outward.
