Assessment[edit]

I've assessed the article as "Start class". The article looks close to B-class, but to get there, I'd like to see some design and construction data in the body of the article; basically take the technical data from the infobox, the top line of "Early Service", spin them off into their own section, and if possible add some info on what the class was intended for and why they were built (see the "Design and Construction" section of HMAS Adelaide (FFG 01) as an example). Some information on what Thiepval did during the three years with the Department of Marine and Fisheries would be nice, but I imagine this info may be hard to come across, so is not essential for B-class.

Thanks! Most of this should be easy enough to dig up from other articles or sources at hand. I'll see what I can do about the 1920-23 service, but it may take a little while to track down the department's annual reports.Tufaceous (talk) 03:14, 6 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Expansion looks good so far. All I want for ~~Christmas~~ B-class is for the figures in the infobox (displacement, length, speed, etc) to be put in the new section and cited. (Sorry for being nitpicky) -- saberwyn 20:51, 6 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
