HC Bílí Tygři Liberec → Bílí Tygři Liberec – "HC" is not necessary in the titling when having the team nickname involved as well. You could use Bílí Tygři Liberec or HC Liberec. Common reference is simply Bílí Tygři Liberec. - Incorrect. If that were the case, then why wouldn't Piráti Chomutov and Orli Znojmo be like this also? HC should only be used because the club does not have a nickname like the Liberec White Tigers do, or if there other sporting clubs (FC, for example) that need to be separately distinguished. Furthermore, the team's own website definitively shows that the name of the club is Bílí Tygři Liberec, not HC Bílí Tygři Liberec. saint0wen (talk) 02:17, 20 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

We appear then to have a consensus to move to HC Liberec, this is explicitly supported by two of the above including the nominator and consistent with the objection of IIO. Relisting to allow any objections to this alternativce proposal, as there is no support at all for the original proposal.

The page has already been moved several times, including from HC Liberec with the edit summary Djsasso moved page HC Liberec to HC Bílí Tygři Liberec over redirect: move back to full name, but this appears to be the first RM discussion. Andrewa (talk) 17:55, 23 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Comment I don't think HC Liberec is correct, the name doesn't reflect current state (although the names of Czech Extraliga clubs are sometimes reduced to the names of cities and towns in newspaper tables). The club is named Bílí Tygři Liberec or HC Bílí Tygři Liberec. Czech media refer almost exclusively to Bílí Tygři Liberec([1] [2]), as well as the official website of the club, so I would prefer this name. --Vejvančický (talk / contribs) 13:44, 30 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
