I was just starting this page for a WBA team of a stub and after I completed team's page of 2 sentences explaining the name change from Buford Majic to that of Gwinnett Majic when it was deleted by a wiki admin within a matter of 2-3 minutes. The team was renamed. I have had previous wiki logins, but they have long been lost, so why the very sudden removal after 2 minutes of a page with 2 sentences?
The setup for this stub was to be modeled based on this existing page of another WBA team: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cartersville_Warriors

- I don't know why it was deleted, I don't see that it was marked as deleted when I look at the Deletion log: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Log/delete --that page is sometimes a good way to figure out why a particular page was deleted. I have looked over what's there now, and while I'm not familiar enough with the topic to say whether the GM are "notable", there's nothing there that should have caused an immediate deletion. So, I'm a little unclear why it was deleted too. --Joe Decker (talk) 18:25, 24 April 2010 (UTC)
