Relationship between television "dad" and Johnny Bishop[edit]

In the trivia section it mentions that the suggestion of a sexual interest of the character of the actor who plays the television "dad" and Johnny Bishop is stated as not being that of their respective counterparts on 90210. Could this be more suggestive of Dawson's Creek, and the alleged rumors of the relationship between the actors who portrayed Dawson and his father? I know that there isn't hard evidence of the relationship, nor the respective actors' sexuality, but is the fact that the rumors were so prominent a possible homage? This occurred to me as well, but unless it's been mentioned by any of the creators involved in GP (I don't remember if it came up in the commentary), I wouldn't put it in the article, even if it's kind of an obvious reference, just because it's a bit speculative. --SHODAN (talk) 02:38, 21 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
