Fair use rationale for Image:Gregory Horror Show PS2 Box.jpg[edit]

Image:Gregory Horror Show PS2 Box.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Bibliography[edit]

Hi, I'm part of a student class and I need to publish my bibliography here for an assignment to get feedback on. Don't think anyone actively works on this page but just wanted to give a disclaimer for context.

  • Staff, I. G. N. (2003-08-13). "Hands On: Gregory Horror Show". IGN. Retrieved 2022-11-19.[1]
    • This is a review of the game by one of the staff at IGN, one of the biggest video game review and news websites. It could be helpful to provide sourcing and expand on the gameplay/plot section of the article.
  • "Gregory Horror Show". Eurogamer.net. 2003-12-02. Retrieved 2022-11-19.[2]
    • This is a review of the game by one of the staff at Eurogamer, another big video game review and news site predominantly for European audiences (the game was never released in the U.S.). It could be useful in providing more content for the review section or aforementioned gameplay section
  • Capcom (2003-12-15), Gregory Horror show manual (PAL), retrieved 2022-11-19[3]
    • This is the games PAL manual, it is straight from the game and official material. This could be used to better document gameplay, plot or controls. Images could also be used(?) depending on what counts as fair use in this case
  • Japanese TV Commercials [2291] Gregory Horror Show - Soul Collector, retrieved 2022-11-19[4]
    • This is a Japanese commercial for the game. It is official material and I'm unsure how useful it would be but I think it is important to note amid the lack of more reputable sources. At least the very least it could be used as a source for the games release price in Japan.
    • NOTE: most sources regarding this game come in the form of online video game new outlets that either publish exclusively online or both online and in print. Therefore, finding more credible books or other types of articles is difficult. Japanese sources I could find are only really user review sites or listings.
@Amcappi: - I was able to find some potential sources in a quick Google/Archive.org search, which I've added as refideas. The commercial ref doesn't seem like it'd be useful, and noting price is outside of WP:VGSCOPE. Waxworker (talk) 22:43, 19 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
