Date of birth[edit]
According to the best and most recent historical research, the date of birth of Gregor Brück is likely to be 1485 (to be more precise, end of 1485-first months of 1486). That we know because of a letter by Bruck of 12/10/1539 in which he describes himself as “almost 53 years old”. Here below a few sources. One can check the memorial plaque for Gregor Brück in Collegienstraße 6, Lutherstadt Wittenberg - a picture is on wikicommons or here on it.wiki.
