Scientific graphs[edit]

Added to a link to a new page on scientific graphs, which weren't quite covered by the existing definitions. The main difference between this definition and the mathematical graphs of functions and relations is that the scientific graphs have one discrete physical quantity plotted against another, invariably on a X-Y graph. They are formed by plotting points from tables of data, rather than from functions. The original motivation for this page actually came about from the homeless scientific definition of versus.
