Merge to The Witches?[edit]

The book's article is shorter than this one, but neither is overlong. Maybe we should combine them a bit? Vashti 17:57, 18 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • I think not, because this makes clear that the Grand High Witch is not just a character; it's a title. CO.
But the character has no existence outside the book. The one is a subset of the other, whether it's a character or a title. Vashti 21:12, 25 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • "But the character has no existence outside the book"

Well, neither does Nurse Ratched, but she's still an article in her own right, despite the one on One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.

I agree that this page should not be merged - the character is meaningful in its own right. Rwallirl 21:13, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

-Meh, I would merge it. It can be stated that it's a tittle. -Ki

It should be the tittle, because even withour bruno, luke,or his grandmother It can be quite an interesting book - d.s.s :{

i would merge it there could be a article within the article —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.43.67.211 (talk) 18:52, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • No, I think they ought to be seperate, but that perhaps seperate articles on Bruno and the grandmother could be made. I was never happy with the merging of Miss Trunchbull and Matilda the novel, to be honest, while Matilda herself, as a person, gets her own. Not050 (talk) 19:50, 8 February 2008 (UTC)Not050[reply]
  • Keep it seperate. If the two articles are merged then some of the finer details will be ommited. And I personally enjoy reading articles on specific characters rather than getting less information in a larger entry. Keep things as they are. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Emperoraaron (talkcontribs) 17:29, 19 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep it seperate. She is a main character, and is worthy to be it's own article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.12.175.121 (talk) 17:47, 25 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
