i don't know whether the person who has written before me which is below my note is correct or not , but i would too like to say my opinion about my birth place, according to me the fort of gowalkot belongs to a king who's Surname was " CHOUGLE ".the is no such record that, that fort belongs to "shivaji" if that was then , most of the land in gowalkot should be on name of Hindus and not CHOUGLES, if you go to chiplun municipality and check the documents known as saat bara utara 7 12 , you will see on 4 saat bara utara of gowalkot and all the saat bara utara shows that the lkand is on name of 4 chougles, and then in 1945 government of India started the kul rule, and then the Hindus and rest of peoples go some land coz most of farming in gowalkot is done by Hindus . thus they got lands, then from where did shivaji came in the picture when the history itself says its false according to my note above , this is all fraud , shivaji has never visited gowalkot , nor does he owe this fort, this fort belongs to chougle king and is now occupied by false people claiming to be of shivaji.have to write many more thing but will write shortly so keep watching
