Music video[edit]

Synopsis of music video was removed, but synopsis provided detailed information of music video's plot line, visuals, production, and reception. Replacement with one-line description from Billboard does not say much about the video. Article is supposed to be non-biased but leans towards favoritism of Timberlake. Wikipedia is supposedly based on verifiability, not original research. Much of the synopsis seems to be heavily detailed and unsourced, which goes against the guidelines in WP:PLOTSOURCE. The article's supposed "favoritsm of Timberlake" is based on hindsight from articles written after the disbandment of NSYNC. I have not yet added citations from when the music video was released, which would probably be why there is recent bias skewing towards Timberlake. If you insist on expanding the synopsis, feel free to find sources that predate NSYNC's disbandment and add them appropriately with the citations styled in the article per WP:CITEVAR. — Angryjoe1111 (talk) 04:47, 25 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Citations about when video was filmed were already in place, but all edits were simply deleted instead of specifying which citations were still needed or were incorrect. Rationale for deleting synopsis was that it was unsourced, but it is a synopsis of a music video. Synopses are a literal description of the video/plot, as can be seen in other articles such as Bye Bye Bye, It’s Gonna Be Me, etc. where the synopses themselves have no citations. I restored earlier edits (and correctly cited them) while also keeping your addition from Jon O'Brien's article. There is no citation for Gone being NSYNC's ninth TRL #1 video because that is a fact verifiable from looking at the TRL's Number Ones page. Y2k lemonade (talk) 03:23, 28 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
