I always use a fresnel for a godspot. What's this about ERS's?KeepOnTruckin 02:30, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I would guess it depends on the specific way the Godspot is begin used. If it is being used to light all of the actors at once I would use a fresnel, if only one actor is being lit and singled out from those around them, I would use an ERS. -- R'nway [ T C ] 01:12, 7 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Am I alone in thinking this article is a bad one? We can't have an article for every "concept" in Lighting design, nor should we. I move that we delete it. Bryson430 16:52, 7 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe the content should be merged with stage lighting and this article redirected? Chubbles 19:49, 8 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Keep the article. Bryson, your a member of the stagecraft project, whats this buisness about deleting SC articles? KeepOnTruckin Complain to me | my work here 01:55, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Because it's not a good article? Just because it's in the project, that doesn't mean it should automatically stay. How about this for a proposal: If we're going to have articles for lighting design concepts - we already have Backlight - then we should merge this info into a new topic called Toplight. A "Godspot" is a very specialist idea that doesn't deserve it's own article - they aren't used that often, and the text is somewhat "School Theatre". What do you reckon? I actually use godspots all the time - one of my favourite effects. 7daysahead (talk) 22:46, 9 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
