Because of edits like this that raise biographical concerns. —Jeremy v^_^v Components:V S M 21:19, 15 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You guys are gonna HAVE to add the Sarah Palin connection eventually... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.224.227.232 (talk) 00:00, 17 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Not normally one to agree with an anonymous IP, but I'm afraid that, due to the media controversy, we do need a sourced, one-sentence mention that it was reported that Rice boffed Palin. I fully support the silverlock after what went down at Paul Revere Purplebackpack89≈≈≈≈ 16:27, 17 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It doesn't really belong here. There is a mention in Joe McGinnis, in the section about the book, which is probably the most appropriate place for it. McGinnis himself is not a reliable source, so it doesn't belong here unless Rice himself publicly confirms the tabloid claims, and maybe not even then. It's the biggest thing to happen to him in his career, to not mention it would be ridiculous. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.224.227.232 (talk) 17:02, 18 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Palin[edit]

With people edit-warring over the Palin stuff, I think we should add something to the article. Maybe something like:

In 2011, Joe McGinniss alleged in his unauthorized biography about Sarah Palin The Rogue: Searching for the Real Sarah Palin, that Rice was involved in an short-term relationship with Palin in 1987 when he was a junior at Michigan. Her husband Todd Palin commented on Sarah PAC Facebook page, saying that the book is "full of disgusting lies".

i agree because it is notable as a news story when 2010 Sarah was still viable 108.44.61.209 (talk) 15:17, 8 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
