'Rev' or 'Father'? I don't think a Catholic priest would go by Reverend Isn't that just a protestant title? Lisiate 21:39, 9 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Pine, Hawk and Glossy Ganoderma?[edit]

The painting of the hawk was called The Pine, Hawk and Glossy Ganoderma. I think this title is wrong because my textbook (Gardner's Art through the Ages: Twelfth Edition) calls it Auspicious Objects. I edited it for this reason.--Killaferra 22:22, 14 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

About the picture[edit]

The picture showed in this article is not Lang himself; it is a drawing of Qianlong made by Lang. --Flsxx (talk) 13:37, 26 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong profile image[edit]

The image used is of another jesuit in china at the time, Ferdinand Verbiest, and not that of Castiglione.
