Gilat Satellite Networks article- missing details[edit]

Hello,

I read your article about Gilat and my impression was that there is much more information to include there. For example, you didn't mention all of Gilat's products, such as its Defense modems, Antenna system, BUCS etc. Also you didn't specify which markets Gilat supports - Commercial VSAT technology, Defense & Homeland Security and Managed services in the USA, Peru and Colombia.

I thought maybe you will be interested if I sent you some information and you will update the article.

Thanks!

Yes, we would indeed be interested in more information. As you can see, the article now includes GilatSat's logo. Any information added to the article should be from a secondary publisher, i.e. not from Gilat's own website. GlobeNewswire or Comtex press releases are usually ok as long as any promotional-sounding language is weeded out in the process. Ideally, all the information would come from independent sources like newspapers, magazines and books, but it's understandable that this isn't always possible.—Biosketch (talk) 10:57, 12 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestion for an updated article[edit]

Hi,

Unfortunately I'm not familiar with creating/editing articles and I also wouldn't want to overwrite your work. So I wrote an updated article with references (not in a formal form but good enough as validation source) and I thought that maybe you could add it to your article (or even sections of it). If there is any information there which you will want more references just let me know and I'll try to find. So here it is:

Gilat Satellite Networks article- missing details ---[edit]

Hello, I read the article on Gilat and I found that are sections that need to be updated since they are not relevant and not correct. In Gilat products – there are new products in consumer like the Capricorn and Gemini Also the Defense modems, Antenna system, BUCS etc. Also you didn't specify which markets Gilat supports - Commercial VSAT technology, Defense & Homeland Security and Managed services in the USA, Peru and Colombia. I will be happy to send references and update information.

Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tovyh (talkcontribs) 11:58, 29 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
