Les Paul Custom?[edit]

Isn't the correct model name for this guitar the Les Paul Custom? Respectfully, SamBlob 04:43, 9 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • I redirected Les Paul Custom to this page. Man I wish I had the money to buy one... CheesePlease NL 09:57, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sexiest[edit]

"and was probably one of the sexiest guitars ever" (even though I tend to agree) should be removed since it's just an opinion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.248.15.218 (talk) 00:50, 27 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:PeterFramptonaltmusicru.png[edit]

Image:PeterFramptonaltmusicru.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Famous LP Custom - "This guitar has seconds to live"[edit]

Would it be worth mentioning this poster/guitar was an LP Custom?

Notable Users[edit]

Carlos Santana was using this guitar too, at least in some Italian concerts back in the 70's. Fpasello (talk) 18:49, 6 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Don't forget the famous Hitori 'Bocchi' Gotou... In all seriousness though, I feel the attention the guitar got from the anime (Bocchi the Rock) does warrant a mention in the article (Many fans bought one, even if they did ultimately give up and return them) - 2001:8003:8072:1800:D410:DA33:45A4:B827 (talk) 09:54, 20 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

counterexample to claim about pickups[edit]

dear @FlightTime Phone:, here is an image that proves a 199x custom les paul did not come with the pickups alleged in the article.

the wording claims all les paul customs made in the 1990s came with the 4xx pickups, which is demonstrably false from the above image.

this is an official image. is this enough now? i cannot believe you reverted me. what a weak move

I did, because you did not include a reference for your claim, that makes it OR, I'm sorry your upset at my monitoring. Maybe Wikipedia is not for you.
