cannibalism[edit]

this is linked to by topic: cannibalism. I don't see any evidence that it should, but don't know enough about the subject to be 100% sure. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.1.193.62 (talk) 02:29, 10 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Citations[edit]

This article has obvious weasel words: "Modern historians" and so claims an authority that wikipedia doesnt really possess. It's citation for Modern Historians is a tourism website. This needs to be improved! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 118.94.183.156 (talk) 05:18, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Names[edit]

So if the article is to be split, then I think the simple name 'Ghatotkacha' should rest with the son of Bhima. The king could have a title added; what would be correct here, king, raja, maharaja, emperor? Imc 09:03, 11 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

1.1 Hidimbi's Sacrifice Request : This anecdote resembles the " Madhyama Vyayogamu ", wherein Bheema had offered himself to go to Bakaasura in place of somebody from the Brahmin family (who had hosted the Pandavas) at that time. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.194.116.50 (talk) 23:44, 28 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The second (middle) son of the Brahmin family was decided and the same was conveyed to Bakaasura as their "Madhyama" will be coming to him. Then, Bakaasura started howling "Madhyama, Madhyama come." Bheema was also known as (Kunthee) Madhyama and responded to Bakaasura, " I am coming, now."
In view of two Madhyamas in this episode, it is termed as "Madhyama Vyayogamu." S.guntur (talk) 01:26, 29 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
