Picture placement[edit]

This article is about the civil decoration of Nazi Germany awarded to administrators of the IV Olympic Winter Games in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and the Games of the XI Olympiad in Berlin 1936. That is the primary focus of the article. The 1957 replacement version is discussed at the end of the article and is not the primary focus. Therefore, the Nazi Germany award should have its picture at the top and the replacement down where it is discussed. Kierzek (talk) 20:59, 13 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Completely agree. We should also get a color version of the Nazi medal. -OberRanks (talk) 21:12, 13 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

IP Picture Edits[edit]

Its pretty obvious someone with a beef is resizing the pictures from various ip addresses, making the post Nazi version bigger and the 1930s era picture smaller. I would say revert on sight; obviously undiscussed and petty vandalism. -OberRanks (talk) 14:35, 18 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. Kierzek (talk) 18:49, 18 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protection has been requested [1]. -OberRanks (talk) 13:47, 28 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Note: I requested it again, due to the same range of ip disruptive editing, and it was granted. There is no problem with having a picture of the replacement medal, in fact, it is a welcomed addition; however, the article is about the Nazi era medal and therefore that one should be listed and shown first.
