the biography breaks off in the 1870s because the source used dates to the 1870s. I am sure Rosen has died since :) but I don't know when. dab (𒁳) 18:46, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi: for those who have a more privileged access to (photographic) archives in Germany, could you check whether the picture of Georg Rosen (the grandson diplomat who played an important role in saving 200000+ human lives in Nanjing) has been confused and posted as a picture of his grandfather (who has the same name)???
