I was wondering if anyone knew the source of the information in this article stating that Hawise of Normandy was the daughter of Richard I and "an unknown mistress". I am a direct descendant of Geoffroy (duke of Brittany) and Hawise, according to our family tree Hawise was the child of Richard and Gonnorade Crepon (daughter of Herbastus of Denmark and an unknown woman), and since Gonnorade had the title of Duchess of Normandy I've always assumed they were married. There are websites not affiliated with my family that confirm this. I guess if no one responds I can cite those websites and change the article? Camelbinky (talk) 20:54, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
