Possible improvements[edit]

I have just completed the B class checklist for this article for the Military History project. I believe that this article could be improved by addressing the following issues:

Referencing: in line citations could be added for the prose, whilst the list part could be covered by note at the bottom perhaps. Was there a definative source used for the officers who held this rank? If so, this could be added in a References section;
Coverage: could the article be expanded with more content? Perhaps it could mention what the rank was equivalent to in the British or US Army as this might make it easier for English speaking readers to gain a better understanding of the equivalent ranks;
Supporting materials: could an image or diagram be added? Perhaps a diagram of the rank slide or insignia?

Just a few ideas. If you would like more involved comments, you might consider adding the article name to the list at WP:MHPR for peer review.
