Death Rumors[edit]

Contrary to rumors, Gary Anthony Williams has not died. A Softer Answer (talk) 02:58, 11 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Recent Voice Role[edit]

Williams recently added The Clone Wars cartoon to his repertoire, voicing Riff Tamson in episodes 1-3 of Season 4. Not sure if this is something worth adding to the main article. --50.131.153.78 (talk) 16:13, 24 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Comedian notability[edit]

"Comedian Gary Anthony Williams knows how this show works, so he comes in prepped to join Wayne Brady, Colin Mochrie and Ryan Stiles for more improvised humor and music in his return appearance in this new episode. The studio audience suggests subjects for the resulting performances. Aisha Tyler is the host. Another episode follows."[1]

"On the episode "Andrea Navedo"- (9:00-9:30 p.m. ET) (TV-14, LV) (HDTV) FUN TIMES - WITH GUEST STAR APPEARANCE BY ANDREA NAVEDO ("JANE THE VIRGIN") - Hosted by comedian Aisha Tyler, cast members Ryan Stiles, Wayne Brady and Colin Mochrie, along with guest comedian Gary Anthony Williams, put their comedic skills to the test through a series of spontaneous improv games that are prompted only by random ideas supplied by the studio audience."[2]

"he’s also the co-founder and artistic director of the largest short comedy film festival in the world (for reals), LA Comedy Shorts Film Festival. He’s proud to be a member of the all-black, ass-kicking improv show, "The Black Version" and its podcast sister, "Blackout Television.[3]

"Whose Line Is It Anyway? (often known as simply Whose Line?) is an improvisational comedy television show... Gary Anthony Williams – 21 episodes (Seasons 9–present)" Whose Line Is It Anyway? (U.S. TV series)

Surely he is notable as a comedian. Ward20 (talk) 22:55, 24 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Ward20: The only evidence that Williams is notable as a comedian is found in an unreferenced section in the article. Build out that section with reliable sources to support the assertion that he is notable in that realm, then add it to the lead and/or infobox of the article.
