Nigeria's ban on the gangs of Lagos[edit]

Lagos indigenes, on the platform of Isale Eko Descendants’ Union (IDU) recently petitioned the Censors Board over alleged defamation of their community and Eyo masquerade in the ‘Gangs of Lagos’ film.

The wasn't baned on online platforms but it's prohibited from being aired in open spaces. I think even Netflix took the film off it's platform in the midst of the controversy @ Nkopudukd1 (talk) 14:57, 19 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
