Citations[edit]

Maybe I don't quite understand how Wikipedia works, but why must the GMHS page have citations? There is only one source of info that could be deemed "credible" which is the website itself, which, I might add, contains some of the details that have "citation needed" beside them.

Some other items like the connection through NASA's LaRC and Virginia Tech was true until sometime around the 2006-2008 period. As far as I know, none of those connections exist and the funding was cut. I do not currently know of any connections to local leaders of technology, and I just graduated from GMHS in June 2010.

The information, if not found on the website, was at one point true and was added by former students/graduates with no written documentation.

Written online documentation about NASA LaRC's partnership and with Virginia Tech's partnership has been found. There is no documentation of any connection with local leaders of technology, apart from the connection to IALR. The only connection there is the Piedmont Governor's School for Mathematics, Science, and Technology.

Image[edit]

There is a good image of the school on the Galileo page of the Danville Public Schools Website. This is not the specific site for the school, but it is the school district's page for it. Either the logo or the photo would be nice, but I am not positive of how to put either up. If someone knows how and would be willing to (or knows a way to attach it to the page here using the image location link) by all means, please add it.
