Loan spell: Empoli[edit]

In 2018 Empoli achieved promotion from Serie B to Serie A. According to an AC Milan fan website, Gabriel was named the best goalkeeper in Serie B. The result of the move request was: Moved to Gabriel (footballer, born 1992). There is a consensus that the current name is not how he is commonly known, and of the two options (Gabriel Vasconcelos or Gabriel), the mononym seems to find consensus, with reliable sources given. This the page of the footballer born 1996 needs to be moved to Gabriel Vasconcelos (footballer, born 1996) and the one born 1992 to the required one. Support Gabriel (footballer), because that is his mononym on all the appended football references: FIFA, ESPN FC, SOCCERWAY. Gabriel Paulista, on the other hand, should remain at Gabriel Paulista since none of those same football references: FIFA, ESPN FC, SOCCERWAY names him as simply "Gabriel", but as "Gabriel Paulista". Oppose moving to Gabriel (footballer), this isn't precise enough. There are at least three footballers known mononymously as Gabriel.
