Spelling of his surname, and his temperament[edit]

Wasn't his surname also spelled "Marpourg"? If so, why not mention that in the article? Also, didn't he publish a temperament he called l‘égalité du tempérament, which dividing the octave into four equally-sounding major thirds? He acknowledged that this scheme was derived from "the famous Mr Sorge, good harmonist and clever mathematician." 173.88.246.138 (talk) 18:21, 2 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
