Name?[edit]

  • Friar Lawrence, Franciscan "Shakespeare"(Act 1, Characters, Line 11). Please revise, to whomever is this article's author.

Brother who?[edit]

This Brother Cadafel or whatever seems to be the subject of another article. Isn't it a bit irrelevant?--BeastKing89 06:33, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

references[edit]

The references are wrong, I think for act 2, scene 3. 75.84.79.173 (talk) 02:10, 2 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rosaline[edit]

Why is there an entire paragraph in the analysis dedicated to Rosaline's role in the play? It seems out of place. Lord Seth (talk) 00:22, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. Reference to Rosaline doesn't fit in this article and should be removed. - Sumit — Preceding unsigned comment added by 143.115.159.54 (talk) 15:11, 19 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Rename Article[edit]

I suggest renaming the article to "Friar Lawrence (Romeo and Juliet)" 86.167.143.195 (talk) 18:11, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Laurence[edit]

Per discussions at Talk:Romeo and Juliet and talk:Characters in Romeo and Juliet, this article should probably be renamed Friar Lawrence, rather than "Friar Laurence". If there are no objections we should go ahead and move it.--Cúchullain t/c 13:21, 4 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Done! --GuillaumeTell 00:12, 6 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Analysis section[edit]

Most of the analysis section is relevant to the play, but not to the character. Why is this? Should we remove content this section and/or add information relevant specifically to the character Friar Lawrence? Philmonte101 😊😄😞 (talk) 20:09, 29 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
