Name of tournament[edit]

I suggest "French Girls International Championship" as a better translation. "Lady"/"Ladies " is never used in names of junior tournaments. "Amateur " is not necassary either EEJB (talk) 21:46, 17 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Rationale: "Girls" is usually U16 or U18. This tournament is U21 so follows the naming convention of "Lady Juniors", eg European Lady Junior's Team Championship (U22).

Perhaps. Some dislike "Amateur", some dislike "Championship", some (happened to Girls U16 Amateur) insist on both, plus "golf"... it's a quagmire.
