Explanation of reversion[edit]

Using WP:Twinkle, I just reverted this edit by Ludo29. Due to an error on my part, the reversion went in without an edit summary, so I'll explain it here.

The edit I reverted removed this article from Category:Spratly Islands with the edit summary, "Tomas Cloma is not an island". My reversion is based on info in WP:CAT#When to use categories which says, in part, "An article's category or categories should reflect the topics and classes that are directly related to the subject." Thomas Colma isn't an island, but he is definitely related to the Spratly Islands. I've added a sentence to the WP:LEDE to clarify this. -- Boracay Bill (talk) 01:20, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I'm sorry. On fr.Wikipédia, we don't work similary. Excuse me. Ludo29 (talk) 10:40, 19 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Confusing article[edit]

Is this a biography of Tomas Sr. or Tomas Jr.? The infos are a bit ambiguous. Thanks. Alcohkid (talk) 12:59, 12 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I believe the article was disrupted by Cloma23. I removed his changes as unsourced. The article should be about Cloma (18 September 1904 – 18 September 1996) and I do not hink Sr. or Jr. is needed in the article as there is no (sourced) info abour Cloma Jr. However, I kept the Sr. in the article for now. I would welcome if the info about the family could be supplied, if notable, but with references. Feel free to check the changes, I may have missed something. --WikiHannibal (talk) 16:29, 25 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Cloma was inspired by the Kingdom of Humanity (later the Republic of Morac-Songhrati-Meads)[edit]

The article fails to make it clear that Tomas Cloma made his claim to some of the Spratly Islands as the Free Territory of Freedomland after reading stories in the Phillipines press in the 1950's about the earlier claim of the Kingdom of Humanity (later the Republic of Morac-Songhrati-Meads) of sovereignty over all of the Spratly Islands (including Itu Aba Island, occupied by Taiwan, and Spratly Island itself, then intermittently occupied by France). 108.73.1.253 (talk) 19:59, 11 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Preceding and successor entities in the infobox[edit]

This edit, part of a (so far) short series of related edits, caught my eye; I am an involved editor in that series. This is a WP:BRD discussion. Note that assertions in the infobox here are unsupported and seem not to be further clarified and supported in the article body content.

As far as I can find by some quick research, the micronation was terra nullis prior to its being under Philippine claim and was/has been/is subsequently part of a larger area of territorial dispute. I attempted to edit the infobox to reflect this but could find no way to do this within the constraints imposed by the p1, s1, and related infobox parameters. I've removed definitions for these parameters pending a better solution (if one appears).

Re the involvement of Vietnam, I did find some information in footnote 18 and in the related content on pages 217 and 218 here, but nothing really on point here.
