Image[edit]

A person claiming to be a grandchild, says the image is of Theodore Frelinghuysen, without presenting any evidence. --Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) (talk) 05:55, 20 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You removed the image again, please present what information you have show us a picture of who you think this is. Add some links to photos of Frederick Frelinghuysen (businessman) and Theodore so we can compare. Use scholarship, not special pleading that you are correct. --Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) (talk) 22:33, 6 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The article now has the correct image, as verified in a contemporaneous encyclopedia and an explicit newspaper identification. The previous image was of this subject's nephew, Frederick T. Frelinghuysen (1886–1967) (son of Theodore Frelinghuysen) and his wife Mai Duncan Watson. The Library of Congress and crowd-soured Flickr identification are incorrect. --Animalparty!
