Success[edit]

"It was not known if it was a success or not." How could they not know if a record sold succesfully? This doesnt make any sense.

his name was mentioned many times on the weekend up date Galaxiehoon (talk) 00:17, 22 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wrote Eye of the Tiger?[edit]

Why does it say he wrote 'Eye of the tiger' ? This was written by Frankie Sullivan and Jim Peterik, not Frank Stallone. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 116.24.62.235 (talk) 13:47, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Frank Sr.'s Italian origins[edit]

On Sylvester Stallone's Wiki page it says that Frank Sr. was from Apulia Italy, while on Frank Jr.'s page it says he was from Sicily.--108.23.216.223 (talk) 06:13, 18 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It is also talked about in the page's discussion. Supposedly Sicily is from imdb and it's considered unreliable --69.203.141.234 (talk) 03:59, 17 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Terror in Beverly Hills[edit]

What year should be given for this film? I see sources that say 1989 and 1991, and nothing I'd consider definitive. IMDB says the release date was March 6, 1991, but the entry is as "Terror in Beverly Hills (1989)". power~enwiki (π, ν) 21:42, 20 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Edit Request: Douchenozzle[edit]

Can you put in here that on March 31, 2018 he tweeted an attack on David Hogg, one of the Parkland survivors, calling him a "pussy" and was then suspended from Twitter for being a "douchenozzle?"

Emotions and the Stallone-Parkland spat[edit]

Yes emotions can mess all of us humans up; emotions like anger can distort our communications and intentions, and there's no easy solution unfortunately. If there's any comfort, maybe it is with the passage of time. In the article, maybe as time passes, we can reduce the coverage of the Stallone-Parkland spat, but to get at the heart of the issue, that perhaps requires introspection and forgiveness.--Tomwsulcer (talk) 11:38, 20 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, people need to compose themselves before posting. I do that mistake every once in while.
I have to disagree on you editing out the bit about his acting in the intro. Mostly because I wrote and I am egocentric (LOL). However the man clearly has both careers though I agree he is more notable in singing. I think his acting is relevant and relevant enough to be in the intro, but please explain to me why it shouldn't in your opinion and we'll discuss it.Filmman3000 (talk) 22:23, 21 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for explaining your point of view. My sense is Stallone is only marginally notable as an actor -- he got roles because of his brother -- and the roles were really only bit parts, a line here or there, not real roles (or am I mistaken about this?) Singing, again, mostly because of his brother, he's achieved some distinction, along with a few awards, maybe he is more notable as a singer, but again, he's not Madonna or Frank Sinatra or Elton John. When I think of persons who are actors, I think of Dustin Hoffman or Keri Russell or Sylvester Stallone or all of those other actors who are considered by the film/TV/media industry as real actors, capable of handling a leading actor role or supporting actor role or even that of a character actor -- someone who submerges themselves in a character, can deliver it, convincingly. Frank Stallone? Well isn't he more known for being Sylvester's brother? And one with a penchant for making obnoxious violence-laden statements attacking teenaged gunshot survivors? If there are sources establishing FStallone as a real actor, please provide them and I'll be open to changing my view.--Tomwsulcer (talk) 23:20, 21 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
