Fails Notability[edit]

There's only one link owned by the author, the official website. The other links in the notes were links to proof the collaborations and publications of the artist. I removed them anyway, to make this article feels less self-promotional, adding much more external sources. Reason for deletion on http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francesco_D%27Isa (how strange that you and the other people who edited recently created the english version after the previous was deleted ):

"pagine palesemente non enciclopediche, promozionali o CV", which translates to:

pages clearly not academic, PROMOTIONAL AND "curriculum vitae".

"Promotional" clearly means "self-promotional" and "CV" means clearly it is not a noteworthy bio.

So it is not only about style (they rewrite in that case, they don't delete), we talk about irrelevance of subject.

As it was told told the Italian page texts WERE clearly not academic, PROMOTIONAL AND "curriculum vitae". The page was kinda written by a huge fan. These ARE NOT. None re-write that italian page because none wanted to do so, I imagine, once it was deleted. Moreover the artist had more achievements, and he works more abroad that in Italy. I'm a fan, everything written here is true, with references and not promotional at all, the style is encyclopedic. There are less noteworthy bios here in wikipedia. --An indisputably notable person will not have his own bio deleted in his native language on the grounds quoted above... rather, he will have many other in many other languages. Time will tell? Do you really hate him, it isn't ;) ? Anyway, I told you that the italian page was deleted because it was bad written and promotional, and none worked into fixing it. Moreover that page was old, the artis got new achievements. This artists, even if living in Italy, started working abroad first. I've not the time to rebuild a new ITA page, maybe I will one day soon, I'm sure that it would be not deleted if re-done.

I would left the article here with the tag, like for Ellen Stagg. In around a year we'll see if some other editor will decide to delete or remove the notability tag.


--Quit the topic of "none worked fixing it" - they don't delete for that and the cause of deletion speaks volumes. You are so motivated, you could have done work there at the time and fixed it; the most likely truth is that you were kicked out there, so you came here to try again to get self-promotion....And meanwhile that we wait that this simple fact gets acknowledged, we give Wikipedia visibility to people who just dodged a reality check. You seem to consciously skip the fact that an article here must acknowledge the established notability, not help a quest to get it....

I'm not the same person who wrote the Italian wiki, I invite you to not get personal. In my opinion THIS article doesn't fail notability and is encyclopedic, I just invited you to quit the argument about the Italian wiki. In my opinion this artist has enough notability to have a short article like this, I just invited you to leave the notability tag and to wait.
