Where to improve the article[edit]

Any explanation on why this needs tidying up and what you'd think would add to the page? As a local to the stations of the Tyne & Wear Metro I'm happy to do the research if people would actually put down their reasoning rather than just the tag Andy C 17:12, 14 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Take a look at other station articles that have been promoted to GA level (such as London Paddington station or Jordanhill railway station) for an example of what a good station article could be. The first task I see for this article is to add references to back up the data in the article. The next task would be to expand the data in the article to more thoroughly describe the station's history and plans for the future. After that you'll probably find more information that could be added from your research. Slambo (Speak) 19:59, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed; I've reworded the caption. Alzarian16 (talk) 19:59, 12 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Name origin?[edit]

"Four Lane Ends" is an unusual name. How did it come about, or what does it refer to? ...PKT(alk) 14:05, 15 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
