I have done a copy-edit of this article with some general cleanup. I removed sub-section Mythology since this article is about Fort Kochi, not about the state of Kerala. I also removed repetitive information. I have pointed out sections where references have to be cited.

Much of the information is about Kochi, India and not about Fort Kochi. More details are to be added about tourist attractions and industries in this region. Anyone who has relevant information about this may please do so. ChrysalSnowlax (talk) 01:55, 10 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The informations aboutKoonan Kurishu Pazhaya Suriyani Palli ( st george orthodox koonan Cross pilgrim centre) established long back in 15 th century as a rock cut holy cross is a tourist spot. The beautiful church made on unbaked mud is a wonder. The church was awarded with NDTV national architecture award 2015. Its a historical centre of syrian christians who fought against the pope and latin church and portugese. The popular independance struggle of koonen cross oath was taken in this land. The church is situated at Lobo Junction ,mattamchery.. just opposite to kayees restaurant Jithu Thomas Mylapra (talk) 07:30, 20 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
