Multi-Focus[edit]

The matter is this: there used to be a company called Focus Research, which was indeed founded in 2005. In August 2011, it was acquired by Ziff Davis. A small group led by Scott Albro, the company's CEO, did not join Ziff Davis and continued working on developing Focus.com as a separate business not affiliated with Ziff Davis (see http://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20110823006392/en/Ziff-Davis-Acquires-Focus-Research). I am not sure what is the best thing to do about this article. Should I just edit it, or should I (or somebody else) create a separate article about Focus Research, moving the pre-2011 information to that article and leaving just a link to it in this article about Focus.com? How to split in a proper way the information on these two businesses (i.e. "historical" Focus Research, now part of Ziff Davis, and Focus.com)?
