Fair use rationale for Image:TvFlash1.gif[edit]

Image:TvFlash1.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

Article needs a trim[edit]

I feel like there is too much excessive information for the Television and Films section and should be trimmed down to this:

Television

The Flash has been adapted to television many times, as a short-lived 1990 television series which was later rebooted in 2014 and appeared in several animated cartoon series.

Animation

  • Barry Allen / The Flash appears in The Batman, voiced again by Charles Schlatter. However, The Batman is set in a different continuity than the previous DC Animated Universe.
  • Wally West / Kid Flash appears in the Teen Titans animated series, voiced by Michael Rosenbaum.
  • Jay Garrick, Barry Allen, Wally West, and Bart Allen appear in Mad.

Live-action

  • A re-imagining of Barry Allen / The Flash appears in television series set in the Arrowverse, portrayed by Grant Gustin. He makes his debut in the second season of Arrow in the episodes "The Scientist", and "Three Ghosts". Initially as a backdoor pilot, The CW ordered a 24-episode series for The Flash with Gustin reprising his role. Gustin also appears as in Supergirl in the crossover episode "World's Finest".

DC Extended Universe

Barry Allen / The Flash makes his theatrical debut in the DC Extended Universe, portrayed by Ezra Miller[1] first making a cameo appearance in Batman vs. Superman. He makes his full appearance in Justice League and it's 2021 directors cut Zack Snyder's Justice League.

A solo Flash film The Flash is currently in production with Miller reprising his role.[2]

Animation

  • Barry Allen / The Flash appears in the DC Super Friends short film The Joker's Playhouse, voiced by Eric Bauza.
  • Barry Allen / The Flash appears in the animated film Justice League: Doom, voiced by Michael Rosenbaum. The film is separate continuity from the DC Animated Universe despite voice actors reprising various roles.
  • Barry Allen appears in the short animated film DC Super Heroes vs. Eagle Talon, voiced by Daisuke Namikawa.
