Proportions[edit]

The article states that the width-height proportions are different from those of the North Ossetian flag, but the flags shown in the two Wikipedia articles have the same proportions. Mats (talk) 08:55, 18 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I edited the North Ossetian flag on Wikimedia Commons (here), to be 2:3 instead of 1:2. It comes out correctly on all pages except in the thumbnail on Flag of North Ossetia-Alania, for some reason. Mats (talk) 10:31, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The two flags seem after all to be identical. It was reverted back to 1:2 according to a source. Can't understand much of it, since it is russian, but there is the 1:2 in the text. 82.141.65.207 (talk) 04:51, 20 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The proportions of the flags are still identical, don't know if they should be. However, there is one difference: South Ossetian flag has slightly darker yellow shade. 85.217.33.33 (talk) 12:04, 17 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
