In the design section[edit]

the article states that the flag was "defaced" by adding the two ducks. "Defaced" is defined as "spoil the surface or appearance of (something), e.g., by drawing or writing on it; mar or disfigure." and I do not think that this was what was planned or what happened, so I am changing the word to "embellished", but I am sure that there are perhaps other, better words to use, but this is, I feel, moving in the right direction. @Carptrash: It's a heraldric term in this context. See Defacement (flag). The Royal C (talk) 16:48, 10 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@The Royal C: One of the wonders of editing wikipedia is the almost unlimited potential for learning. Thanks, I reverted my edit and made "defaced" a link to Defacement (flag) because I still felt a little uneasy about it. Now I feel just fine. Carptrash (talk) 18:19, 10 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
