Text reference + Image of the flag of Theodore Roosevelt's Roughriders regiment (1st United States Volunteer Cavalry).

The regiment is of historical significance and connected to North Dakota, as is Roosevelt. Their flag is also similar to the state flag. So, it would be a nice example of similar flags.
